Homerton Housing has been established as the paradigm of supported living; offering accommodation across the West Midlands. 

With an ever-changing municipal, and growing diversity in our population, we pride ourselves in our flexible nature and dynamic approach. This has enabled us to respond to each new challenge the community faces and offer support to even some of the most vulnerable members of society; with dignity and a sense of empowerment.

We always put people first and that includes the people who use our services, their carers and families, our staff, and our many partners.

We work with a wide demographic of people and have supported clients and service users with a wide range of needs including mental health issues, substance misuse, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and ex-offenders.

About Us!

Snapshot of Our Services

  • Supported Accommodation – We offer homes for rent to vulnerable people in Birmingham and right across the West Midlands, coupled with appropriate levels of support by our Housing Officers and specialised Housing Maintenance team.

 

  • Homerton Care and Support Services – We provide practical, personal and social support to vulnerable people, enabling them a sense of empowerment until they are ready for independent living. 

Code of Conduct

At Homerton we believe in treating everyone with respect and as the unique and valuable human being they are.

  • Protecting the rights and promoting the interests of those we support
  • Establishing an atmosphere of trust and confidence
  • Promoting independence amongst our client base whilst protecting them from harm

Policies & Procedures

Homerton has an extensive set of policies designed to ensure our services are delivered in accordance with our Ethos and Values including our commitment to treat everyone with respect and to provide appropriate accommodation alongside professional and compassionate support.

The main body of our policies are divided into four groups:

  • Administration – Policies including matters such as Data Protection and Information Security
  • Health and Safety – Policies including matters such as Fire Safety and Lone Working
  • Human Resources – Policies including matters such as Confidentiality, Equal Opportunities, Disciplinary and Grievance
  • Service Delivery – Policies include Adult Protection and Complaints, Suggestions and Compliments, and Service User Development and Involvement

All are accessible via our administration team.

We see training and development as part of our overall commitment to Homerton's people.

We therefore incorporate a love of learning and personal growth into all we do. This keeps us motivated and engaged with our work, personal growth and the people we support. It also enhances our service delivery by ensuring we use current good practice at all times.
